Playing online video games with his best friend, Shaun. Reggie’s parents begin to argue in their room.

The arguing begins to intensify. Reggie unable to cope drops the game and begins to leave his room.

In the main hallway, the yelling turns to outright screaming.

The screaming abruptly stops. Reggie is curious when he hears whispering, which prompts him to walk over to his parent’s door.

Reggie continues to eavesdrop as he hears and reacts to a terrible truth.

Reggie quickly turns to walk back to his room as he hears his father coming towards the door.

His father catches him, gives his son a look of disdain as he walks past him.

Reggie looks on as it cuts wider to reveal him and his mother standing.

Fade out as Reggie walks to his door. Fade back into Reggie’s room interior as he listens to his records.

Reggie’s mom, Felica enters.

Felica checks in on her son and sits next to him on his bean bag.

Realizing that she and her young son will be going through a tough time, Felica is trying to find a way to reset.

Still fuming over his father’s words and actions, Reggie is refusing to touch the van even at his mother’s request.

Felica is doing a bad job of convincing her son to help finish building their van. She ends up revealing their long-awaited vacation plans which begin to change his mind.

Felica adds the cherry on top by throwing in a box of Reggie’s favorite donut shop, Dough Nutz.
